You’re invited to sign a petition this weekend about the debt crisis affecting many of the world’s poorest countries. We have received a letter from Cardinal Stephen from Sudan explaining the effects of debt on his people, he says “When debt repayment takes priority over essential services, the poorest suffer most.” The full letter is on the notice board in the hall. Please sign the petition at the back of church calling for the UK government to take urgent action on this crisis. Or sign online if you prefer. cafod.org.uk/cancelthedebt

We would love a few more people to join the team from September 2026. Anyone in the parish is welcome, men in particular, as our current team is entirely female and it’s important for our children to experience a variety of voices and role models. If you would like to help, just let Canon Gerard, Deacon David or Deacon Philip know, so we can get safeguarding checks underway. The only requirement is a willing spirit and the ability to help with one or two Sunday sessions per half-term. All planning is provided. You can either help lead or simply support the session.

You are very welcome!

Children and families are warmly invited to a special liturgy for children at morning Mass on Sunday’s, during term time. Children from 4 – 8 years may attend the sessions in the parish hall during the first half of mass. Younger children may also join when accompanied by a parent.

Visitors are always most welcome to celebrate mass with us.
