St Aelred’s annual Christmas Fair will take place on Sunday 30th November following 9am Mass. We need donations of bottles, chocolate and cakes on the day. The annual raffle tickets are on sale this weekend.

Christmas Nativity at St Aelred’s – Would your child like to take part in this year’s nativity at St Aelred’s? All ages welcome and talking and non-talking parts available! The nativity will be carried out during the 9am Mass on Christmas day. Friendship Groups: St Aelred’s Friendship Group meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 1.30pm – 3.30pm all most welcome. St Mary’s Friendship Group meet Monday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3pm with refreshments and good cake! All most welcome.

Our annual Remembrance Mass will take place on Tuesday 11 th November, 7pm, at St Aelred’s. If you can offer a lift or need one, please sign up in the Narthex at St Mary’s.

Advent Reconciliation and healing service (with opportunities for individual Confessions) Tuesday 9th December 2025, 7pm – 8pm at St Aelred’s.

Preparing for Christmas with prayer. Four sessions reflecting and praying over the Sunday Readings during Advent. Tuesdays 25/11, 2/12, 9/12, 16/12 in St Aelred’s hall after Mass at 10.45-11.45am. All very welcome

The Sacrament of Confirmation: will be celebrated, by Bishop Marcus, on Wednesday 25th February 2026, 7pm, at St Aelred’s. All Year 6 students and above are invited to apply for the sacrament. Please see Fr Gerard, Deacon David or Deacon Philip for an application form
