St Aelred’s late summer Fair will take place on Saturday 6th September from 2-4.30pm. We need lots of bottles – particularly wine and spirits, chocolates for the tombola, Hampers and vouchers. Please bring them to church as soon as possible and we will store them in a cool secure place. Home baking and preserves gratefully received on the day and lots of help.

Saturday 27th September We are joining the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham. The coach will leave Harrogate at about 6.15am arriving in time for Mass at 12 noon followed by procession along the Holy Mile and Benediction in the Abbey grounds. We will return to Harrogate about 10pm. Packed lunch will be needed, and we are hoping to plan a stop for fish and chips at the seaside on our return journey. Cost is £35 each (including fish and chips). For further details and to secure a place, please email Caroline office.strobert@dioceseofleeds.org.uk by 31st August.

St Aelred’s Church is kept clean by a team of volunteers, working in pairs on a rota. We need at least four and, preferably more, volunteers to join the rota and share this important work. Each pair cleans the church, taking 2-3 hours about four times a year. To volunteer or discuss the task without obligation, please contact the Co-ordinator: Harry Harper; email: harperh03@gmail.com; Mobile/Text: 07517 923405.
