Christmas Nativity at St Aelred’s – Would your child like to take part in this year’s nativity at St Aelred’s? All ages welcome and talking and non-talking parts available! The nativity will be carried out during the 9am Mass on Christmas day. Thank you for supporting CAFOD’s Family Fast Day! Your donations in our parish collection and online are helping families like Waré’s in Ethiopia. CAFOD’s local partners worked with Waré’s community to build an underground water tank that now provides safe water for 300 families. The Sacrament of Confirmation: will be celebrated, by Bishop Marcus, on Wednesday 25th February 2026, 7pm, at St Aelred’s. All Year 6 students and above are invited to apply for the sacrament. Please see Fr Gerard, Deacon David or Deacon Philip for an application form.

The theme of his talk is “Suffering in Christ.” Until recently Jones was a member of the National service team for Catholic Charismatic Renewal and is chairperson of the Leeds Diocesan service team
